Allowed input characters: DotCode supports numeric values (0-9), uppercase and lowercase alphabetic characters (A-Z, a-z), and supported special characters. It is designed for compact, high-density data encoding in space-constrained applications.
Properties
This sample demonstrates how to generate a DotCode barcode with custom content using the SfDotCodeGenerator component. This two-dimensional barcode symbology encodes data using arranged dots, enabling high-density data storage and reliable error correction in limited print areas, making it ideal for manufacturing, logistics, product identification, and packaging applications.
Customize the barcode with the following options:
- Content: Modify the
Valueproperty to update the encoded barcode data. - Size: Adjust
WidthandHeightto control the barcode dimensions. - Colors: Customize the barcode appearance using the
BackgroundColorandForeColorproperties. - Text Display: Use the
Visibilityproperty to show or hide the human-readable barcode text. - Spacing: Configure
Marginproperties (left, right, top, and bottom) around the barcode. - Text Alignment: Set the display text
