Blazor Gantt Chart Example - Undo and Redo

Loading Syncfusion Blazor Server Demos…

This sample demonstrates the Undo and Redo functionality of the Blazor Gantt Chart in a Software Development Lifecycle scenario. The feature makes it possible to safely revert or reapply recent changes during planning and execution, ensuring accurate timelines and organized workflows.

  • Undo: Reverts the most recent change.
  • Redo: Restores a change that was undone.

Both options are available through toolbar buttons or keyboard shortcuts:

  • Windows: Ctrl + Z (Undo), Ctrl + Y (Redo).
  • macOS: Command + Z (Undo), Command + Shift + Z (Redo).

The Gantt Chart tracks and manages a wide range of actions, including:

  • Task operations: Editing, adding, and deleting tasks.
  • Dependency and timeline updates: Modifying task relationships and adjusting schedules.
  • Column operations: Sorting, reordering, resizing, and saving column state.
  • View operations: Searching, filtering, zooming in/out, navigating timespans, resizing splitters, and expanding or collapsing rows.

The Blazor Gantt Chart enables undo and redo actions through the UndoRedoActions API.

  • The feature is enabled by setting the EnableUndoRedo property to true.
  • The number of steps that can be undone or redone is controlled by the MaxUndoRedoSteps property.

With these settings, changes made in the chart can be reverted or reapplied seamlessly, ensuring timelines remain accurate and workflows stay consistent.
