Create a new Blazor App in Visual Studio

Create a Blazor WebAssembly App using Visual Studio via Microsoft Templates or the Syncfusion® Blazor Extension. For detailed instructions, refer to the Blazor WASM App Getting Started documentation.

Install Syncfusion® Blazor Chart Wizard NuGet in the App

To add the Blazor Chart Wizard component in the app, open the NuGet package manager in Visual Studio (Tools → NuGet Package Manager → Manage NuGet Packages for Solution), then search and install Syncfusion.Blazor.ChartWizard. Alternatively, run the following commands in the Package Manager Console to achieve the same.

Prerequisites

Create a new Blazor App in Visual Studio Code

Create a Blazor WebAssembly App using Visual Studio Code via Microsoft Templates or the Syncfusion® Blazor Extension. For detailed instructions, refer to the Blazor WASM App Getting Started documentation.

Alternatively, create a WebAssembly application by using the following command in the integrated terminal(Ctrl+`).

Install Syncfusion® Blazor Chart Wizard and Themes NuGet in the App

  • Press Ctrl+` to open the integrated terminal in Visual Studio Code.
  • Ensure in the project root directory where the .csproj file is located.
  • Run the following command to install a Syncfusion.Blazor.ChartWizard NuGet package and ensure all dependencies are installed.
dotnet add package Syncfusion.Blazor.ChartWizard -v 33.1.44
dotnet restore

Prerequisites

Install the latest version of .NET SDK. If the .NET SDK is already installed, determine the installed version by running the following command in a command prompt (Windows), terminal (macOS), or command shell (Linux).

Create a Blazor WebAssembly App using .NET CLI

Run the following command to create a new Blazor WebAssembly App in a command prompt (Windows) or terminal (macOS) or command shell (Linux). For detailed instructions, refer to this Blazor WASM App Getting Started documentation.

Install Syncfusion® Blazor Chart Wizard NuGet in the App

Here’s an example of how to add Blazor Chart Wizard component in the application using the following command in the command prompt (Windows) or terminal (Linux and macOS) to install a Syncfusion.Blazor.ChartWizard NuGet package. To bind data for the Chart Wizard component, you can assign a IEnumerable object to the DataSource property.

Now, populate the categories and chartSeries collections with the appropriate data defining the chart’s categories and series. Then, assign these values to the CategoryFields and SeriesFields properties of the ChartSettings, respectively.

The default series type is Line. Use the SeriesType property to change the series type.

Theme

Blazor Chart Wizard has built-in themes that can be used to change the appearance of the chart.

Prerequisites

In order to apply same theme update for the overall Chart Wizard UI, include the same theme stylesheet (this can be accessed from NuGet through Static Web Assets) in the <head> tag in the App.razor file as shown below:
